PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Graduated from a standard high school or GED or have equivalent experience
Minimum of one year of experience with instrumentation and automated control systems
Strong understanding of electrical and wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings
Strong record-keeping and organizational skills
Prior experience with electrical/control cabinet builds, repairs, and retrofits
Ability to work effectively with other employees in a team environment
Good communication skills with individuals at all levels
Valid Driver’s License
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Prior Oil & Gas experience
Experience with Water Transfer systems
Knowledgeable with SCADA and PLC software
Strong knowledge of current computer technology and TCP/IP configurations
Prior experience with inventory control and management
Prior experience with AutoCAD and drafting software
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Custodial supervision of the Automation shop completing routine cleaning, organizing, and inventory control procedures
Performing routine preventative maintenance, repairs, builds, and retrofits to control cabinets, valves, flowmeters, and other automation equipment, maintaining detailed
records
Preparing reports on work performed to assets for management
Performing post-job/pre-job functional testing and validation of automated control systems at the shop
Parts and equipment deliveries to field sites as needed Rev.
