To start: Base salary
After 30 days: Base salary or weekly commissions (whichever is higher)
Commission opportunities: Selling vehicles, buying vehicles, financing, warranties, and insurance.
Duties:
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences
- Provide information about available vehicles and their features
- Conduct test drives with potential buyers
- Negotiate pricing and financing options to close sales
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation for each sale
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of current inventory and pricing
- Collaborate with sales support team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure their satisfaction
Skills:
- Strong negotiation skills to close sales effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries and scheduling appointments
- Ability to provide sales support, including answering questions and addressing concerns
- Proficient in inventory control to manage available vehicles effectively
- Basic understanding of retail math for pricing and financing calculations
- Effective public speaking skills for presentations and product demonstrations
- Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive buying experience
- Familiarity with dealership operations and procedures
