as a Residence Counselor in one of our intermediate care facility residences for aging adults with developmental disabilities.
You will work in a small homelike environment with 10–12 beds.

25 - $18.
75 per hour! (depending on related experience) - shifts worked during 10:00 pm–6:00 am receive an additional $1.
00/hour Sign-on Bonus for Eligible OPWDD IRA/ICF Direct Care Positions Full time positions are now eligible for a $1,500 or $2,000 sign-on bonus, $375/$500 every 3 months for one year.
Part time positions are now eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus, $250 every 3 months for one year.
New hires and rehires are eligible for this sign-on bonus.
(ELIGIBLE POSITIONS: ICF Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Residence Counselor) Sign-on Bonus Amount Eligible Position(s) $2,000 Full Time, ICF Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) $2,000 Full Time, Residence Counselor Overnights $1,500 Full Time, Residence Counselor $1,000 Part Time, Residence Counselor Nature of Work: The Residence Counselor is responsible for the actual implementation of each individual's Individualized Program Plan as determined by the individual and his/her Service Planning Team.
This includes, but is not limited to; ongoing teaching/assisting with community integration, social and recreational activities, money management, transportation, behavioral needs and overall health and well-being of the individual.
The Residence Counselor meets regularly with the Shift Supervisor, QIDP, Residence Manager and confers with other members of the individual's Service Planning Team to ensure services are appropriate and meet with expressed (or implied) needs, likes, and choices of the individual.
Will respect each individual’s home, belongings, and Agency property.
Minimum Qualifications: • High School diploma or GED is preferred.
Verbal and written communication skills are necessary in order to perform the essential functions of the position.
• Prefer at least one year of experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities or related field of experience.
• A valid driver’s license with driving record that meets insurability guidelines to operate Agency-owned vehicles.
• Residential ICF Facility: A Covid vaccination or valid medical exemption is required.
