Position Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor is a critical part of our operation.
This individual will be responsible for but not limited to:
Responsible for analyzing facts or conditions to take regular independent action to achieve established goals and objectives.
Directs, plans, organizes, trains, and sets goals for maintenance employees to assure that repairs and periodic maintenance tasks are performed on equipment, buildings, and grounds to meet production schedules and prevent deterioration of capital equipment.
Schedules work assignments, maintains records and coordinate projects and assignments for all Maintenance employees and Mechanical Technicians.
Analyzes preventative maintenance data to predict equipment downtime.
Establishes and maintains P/M records.
Ensure that the workplace is clean, safe, and well lit, which includes the walkways, roads, and parking areas during inclement weather.
Maintains an awareness of industry developments, trends, and improvements concerning all maintenance functions/activities.
Oversees and maintains an accurate and cost-effective maintenance parts and supply inventory.
Appraises employee job performance.
Coaches and develops employees to improve performance.
Manages conflict, enforces company policies, and issues corrective discipline to employees as required.
Procurement of maintenance supplies and materials.
Supervises hourly maintenance and mechanic personnel and Wellsboro and Coudersport plants.
Supports any other activities as directed.
REQUIREMENTS:
· This position will have ITAR/EAR responsibilities.
Education: (High School, College, Other): · High School Diploma and/or GED Required.
· 3 to 5 years of experience supervising mechanic and maintenance staff Minimum 2-year degree in related field is preferred
