MAIN FUNCTION:
Coordinates practice wide operational services including daily staffing plans, employee supervision, and inter-departmental communication.
Assists with policy and procedure development, implementation and review.
Assists with problem and conflict resolution with patients, physicians and staff.
Reports to the Director of Operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.
Coordinates and assigns duties to staff and prepares work schedules.
2.
Completes performance evaluations, disciplinary documentation, etc.
for office staff with assistance of Director of Operations and Director of Employee Relations as needed.
3.
Participates in interview process of prospective new staff and provides recommendations to the Director of Nursing and Clinical Services and Director of Operations.
4.
Coordinates and implements a plan for training for new staff.
5.
Identifies, mediates and resolves problems for physicians, patients, and staff with assistance from the Director of Operations and Director of Nursing and Clinical Services as needed.
6.
Coordinates and participates in regular office staff meetings as needed.
7.
Assigns duties and makes staffing adjustments to insure efficient office operation.
8.
Ensures compliance and staff education in office policies, procedures, accreditation requirements and other standards.
9.
Coordinates and ensures team participation and compliance with various quality initiatives including but not limited to Patient Centered Medical Home, PQRS, Meaningful Use and patient experience.
10.
Performs other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as required for the efficient office operation.
11.
Assesses, develops, reviews and improves the office workflow related to all aspects of the office.
12.
Approves and submits payroll.
13.
Approves and submits purchasing requisitions.
14.
Actively involved and responsible for the patient experience and quality initiatives as assigned by the organization.
Leads Patient experience within assigned office.
15.
Is responsible for attending all annual mandatory educational programs as required by position.

EDUCATION:
High school Diploma required.
AAS degree in business or related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Three years medical office experience or equivalent and comparable hospital or other medical institutional experience.
Demonstrated managerial skills including personnel administration and supervision, training, and other related skills are desirable.
CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION (CPR) REQUIREMENTS:
None required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Employee required to be on his/her feet much of the time, some lifting, reaching and stooping involved.
Exposure Category:
Category III.
Tasks that do not involve exposure to blood and body fluids/tissue.
Category I tasks are not a condition of employment.
