*Pay:* $85,000-$92,000 per year (depending on related experience)
The Pathways Inc.
Residential Services Program offers a variety of 24-hour supervised home settings for children with severe emotional and behavioral difficulties and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
*Reporting Relationships:*
Receives direct and ongoing supervision from the Chief Operating Officer.
Supervises the Residential Coordinators, R.
N.
Coordinator, Behavior Intervention Specialist, Dietician, Program Directors, and Managers.
Has ultimate responsibility for the supervision of all staff in the Residential and Family Support Programs.
*General Summary of Duties: *
Actively participates in activities and decisions directed toward ensuring programs are well prepared for audits/certifications, announced and unannounced.
Ensures that services comply and adhere to all regulations including, but not limited to, local, county, state, OMIG, OIG, and other regulatory entities.
Coordination and administration of the physical plant, management, staffing and business operations of the Residential Programs.
Collaborates with the Program Directors and Residence Managers on the development of annual residential program operating budgets.
Interfaces with local DDSO personnel, OPWDD personnel and OMH personnel relative to the operations of the residential programs, as well as new program development.
Participates with other agency administrators in the development of agency policy and procedures.
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*
- Knowledge of OPWDD and OMH regulations and practices.
- Ability to oversee utilization of proper SCIP intervention techniques and behavioral modification techniques.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Skill in gathering, interpreting and reporting information.
- Ability to exercise initiative, solve problems and make decisions.
- Ability to collaborate with administrators, managers, program staff, consumers and other agency staff.
*Qualifications:*
* A Master’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Mental Health or related field is required.
* Clinical Licensure in New York State is desired but not required.
* Five (5) years of management/supervisory experience in a human services residential setting is required.
* Must have a valid driver’s license.
* Must meet the requirements related to Criminal History Record checks that became effective April 1, 2005 which requires prospective employees to be fingerprinted if they have regular and substantial unsupervised or unrestricted physical contact with people receiving services in our programs regulated by OPWDD and OMH.
