Reporting to the Region Lead - Supply Chain for N.
America whilst also working closely with their peers within the N.
America supply chain leadership team, the role will focus on ensuring we deliver the highest standards of cost, quality, and service from the Big Flats, NY site.
You will be part of the N.
America supply chain leadership team to support Region goals for growth, margin improvement, cash flow and service
The role is particularly focused on transforming our manufacturing capability for our Big Flats portfolio to ensure we have the right team to win with great quality and costs.
This leader will build the winning traits culture and talent management across all levels at the Big Flats, NY Manufacturing site.
Stakeholder and relationship management cross functionally, internally and externally is critical to the success of this role.
You will be a disrupter, entrepreneurial, bold and driven.
Attention to detail and engagement of the plant team is at the heart of what you do, delivery for you and your team is everything.
Key accountabilities & deliverables:
Manufacturing
* Lead our Factory in Big Flats NY to deliver the highest standards in Safety, Quality, Cost, Service and installing our entrepreneurial disruptor culture at all levels of the organisation
* Delivering accelerated cost of goods margin improvement on the portfolio
* Guardian of simplification, driving complexity out of the business
* Strategic outlook, developing capability in people, systems and processes.
Always one step ahead.
* Developing key relationships with all business functions that impact on our overall delivery across N.
America and Globally
* Accountable for all Factory related KPI’s
* Lead manufacturing element of new product development and capability
3rd party manufacturing
* Ensuring attention to detail and formalisation of relationships
* Responsible for KPI’s across, inventory, customer service, quality and cash
* Professionalising our 3rd party supply base to create agile, dependable and cost-effective supply
* Externally focused to ensure we remain competitive and focused on the latest developments in the US marketplace
* Lead annual contract and joint business planning for our 3rd party manufacturing and packaging
Skills & Experience Required:
Essential:
* Progressive leadership of large manufacturing teams in a Food / CPG environment
* Experience in sourcing 3PM contract development and account management
* First-hand experience in building teams and process from a blank page
* Large scale change project leadership
* Worked with implementation of new business systems from design to delivery
* Capex management and delivery experience of projects up to $1M
* New product launch management
Desirable:
* Global market experience
* Chocolate manufacture experience
* Lean Manufacturing / Siix Sigma
Qualifications:
Essential:
* Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA)
* 10 years progressive advancement within Supply chain
Desirable:
* Chartered institute of supply chain (CIPSC) qualification
Personal Attributes:
* Strong leadership style, willing to get your hands dirty and demonstrate delivery as well as inspire and set vision/strategy for your function
* You will be in control of the detail to enable quick decisions

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $71,570.
