*ROLE SUMMARY: * This Associate Financial Advisor will have the unique role of providing technical and client relationship management support to seasoned members of the Advisory Team.
Furthermore, this candidate will be handling transactions for the firm’s clients, as well as supporting the day-to-day relationships and participating in or conducting client meetings.
The Associate Financial Advisor position will be responsible for developing financial plans, managing client relationships, reviewing portfolio performance with clients, and performing research regarding complex client issues.
While the addition of new clients and assets is encouraged, the focus of Associate Financial Advisors will be on maintaining and servicing our current clientele.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Build and maintain client relationships in partnership with the Senior Financial Advisors * Attend meetings held by the Senior Financial Advisors with clients and prospects; conduct solo meetings with clients as appropriate * Work with clients to ensure action items are thoroughly executed and documented * Assist Senior Financial Advisors with data collection and input into financial planning software * Handle client-related requests and account service inquiries without advisor input * Assist clients with implementation of recommended and agreed-upon strategies * Initiate trading to satisfy client withdrawals and deposits * Run scheduled model portfolio rebalances to ensure client portfolios are within tolerance * Embrace investment strategy of the firm and provide investment education and recommendations * Work together to transfer existing clients, freeing up the Senior Financial Advisors to continue to drive growth and direction of the firm *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS DESCRIBED:* *Client Relationship Management:* * Serve as the primary point of contact for a designated section of our book of business, handling incoming calls, inquiries, and requests for account information.
* Conduct regular account performance reviews with clients in the designated book of business, discussing investment performance, portfolio allocations, and any necessary adjustments to their financial plans.
* Provide personalized financial guidance and support to clients within the designated section, addressing their concerns and helping them navigate financial decisions.
*Administrative Support:* * Manage the administrative aspects of client accounts within the designated section, including account openings, transfers, withdrawals, and other account-related transactions.
* Ensure timely and accurate processing of paperwork and documentation for clients within the designated book of business, adhering to compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain organized client records and files within the designated section, updating information as needed and ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
*Client Communication and Engagement:* * Proactively reach out to clients within the designated section to provide updates on market developments, portfolio performance, and relevant financial news.
* Schedule and coordinate meetings between clients within the designated section and senior-level advisors as needed, facilitating communication and collaboration between parties.
* Prepare meeting agendas, presentation materials, and reports to support client interactions and discussions within the designated book of business.
*Team Collaboration and Support:* * Collaborate closely with senior-level advisors and other team members to ensure seamless client service delivery and continuity of care within the designated section of our book of business.
* Assist senior advisors in identifying opportunities for client engagement, cross-selling additional services, and enhancing overall client satisfaction within the designated book of business.
* Act as a resource for junior team members, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in client service and administrative tasks related to the designated section of our book of business.
*Continuous Improvement and Professional Development:* * Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial planning and wealth management.
* Participate in training programs, workshops, and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills relevant to the role.
* Pursue additional certifications or licenses as appropriate to support career growth and advancement within the organization.
*Compliance and Risk Management:* * Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies governing client interactions, data privacy, and financial transactions within the designated section of our book of business.
* Conduct periodic reviews of client accounts within the designated section to identify and address any compliance issues or discrepancies.
* Work closely with compliance officers and legal advisors to resolve compliance-related matters and mitigate operational risks within the designated book of business.
By focusing on these responsibilities, the servicing financial advisor or associate financial advisor can effectively support senior-level advisors and provide high-quality service to clients within the designated section of our book of business, helping to maintain strong client relationships and drive business growth *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:* * Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or other related field * 2-5 years of financial planning, investment, or tax experience strongly preferred * Valid FINRA Series 7 & 66 (or comparable combination of Securities licenses) * Strong academic and professional background * Exceptional communication and presentation skills * Strong attention to detail, poised, organized, and keen sense of urgency * Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently * Strong Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Office products * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to understand complex issues * Team player * Strong fit with our Core Values *PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:* * Working knowledge of financial products, the financial industry, personal financial advisor or responsibilities, or financial planner roles is essential * Experience working with planning software, and other related business or money management tools Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.
