This Made-in-the-USA 1992 Peavey Fury Bass is a classic.
It’s a great first bass, but it’s also a vintage collectible, adding special value for any musician.
To the best of my knowledge, it’s 100% maple in three parts and is of much better construction than most entry-level basses.
It’s a full-size, 4-string bass with 22 frets and a solid body.
All body parts are 100% original.
I am the original and only owner.
When purchased, this bass was glossy white/cream in color.
I hand-painted it using acrylic paints in a vertical blue & violet wash (which shows better on the back of the instrument) and finished it with a light spray of poly to seal it.
This was probably 20 years ago, and while this makes the instrument unique, removing the paint to return it to its pearly white glory should not be difficult.
Flecks of white show through from regular use.
All original hardware IS included.
The original pickups require soldering, and installation needs to include shielding in order to achieve the desired sound.
Depending on your level of technical expertise, this will either be a joy or a chore.
Personally, I would recommend having a local guitar tech perform a professional setup on it.
All prospective buyers should consider this prior to making a bid.
Original knobs and pick guard (black) are included.
Neither strings nor a case are included.
It will be packed with the utmost care and protection and shipped securely to ensure safe delivery.
This item is sold as-is.
