*General Summary of Duties: *
The Youth Services Supervisor provides clinical and programmatic supervision to Youth Service Providers and Skill Builders.
This position coordinates with subcontracted youth service provider agencies and provides direction, supervision and clinical support to Youth Service Providers and Skill Builders.
This includes performing the functions of program evaluation, program development, implementation of services and effective management of fiscal and human resources.
*Knowledge, Skill and Abilities: *
Excellent interpersonal communication and sound writing skills are essential.
Must have excellent skills in supervision, organization, interviewing, counseling, and training.
Ability to relate to individuals of diverse ages and backgrounds.
Knowledge of agency policies and procedures.
Knowledge of OCFS, OMH, and DOH regulations.
Knowledge of computer systems and applications.
Skill in gathering interpreting, and reporting information.
Skill in supervision.
Ability to exercise initiative, problem-solving, and decision-making.
Ability to work effectively with administrative staff, management staff, employees, consumer and external agencies.
Ability to accept and demonstrate information/directions from the Manager of Youth Services.
Ability to provide leadership to, and act as a positive role model for the staff.
*Qualifications:*
* _Required _qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or a related field plus four years of experience in human services working with children, youth and families.
* _Preferred _Qualifications: A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or related field plus two years of applicable experience.
* At least one (1) year of supervisory experience is preferred.
* Must possess a valid/clear driver’s license and dependable vehicle and provide transportation utilizing your own vehicle as required.
* Must meet the requirements of the School Age Care, Day Care, and/or Mental Health Regulations regarding a State Central Register Clearance regarding history of abuse/maltreatment of children and Criminal History Review for criminal convictions.
